New!YOUNG RIDERS, AGES 16-21! Don't miss the North American Young Riders Endurance Ride on July 31. The 75-mile, FEI 3-star in Parker, CO will be held in conjunction with the North American Junior Young Riders Championships (in show jumping, dressage, eventing, reining). RULE CHANGE: At the February 28 board meeting, a modification of rule 9.3, regarding best condition, was passed. The rule now will read: "Under the AERC system, all of the first ten completing (was 'finishing') equines are eligible or consideration, whether ridden by Junior, Featherweight, Lightweight, Middleweight or Heavyweight riders." This change is presently in effect.

BLM/AERC RAFFLE TICKETS! You could win a $125 voucher towards a BLM Wild Horse & Burro adoption. Tickets: $1 each. Call during AERC office hours, 866-271-2372, to order your tickets. Drawing will be held at AERC's National Championships in Indiana this October.

New!AERC-I Members: Latest AERC-I Overall Rider Rankings, updated this month. Also: latest AERC-I Ranking List showing the best 2 scores for 2007-08. Riders who are on the NTL any time on or between Dec. 1 of 2007 and June 15 of 2008 are eligible to apply for the WEC in Malaysia November 6-9, 2008, and for training sessions that will be announced shortly. Questions regarding the list should be directed to Vonita Bowers at vbowers@usef.org.

RIDE CANCELLATION: Smoke from nearby fires has caused the cancellation of the July 5 Gold Country 30/50 (West Region)>.

RIDE CANCELLATION: The Wildcat Rides scheduled for July 25, 26 and 27 in Wisconsin (MW Region) have been cancelled.

RIDE RESCHEDULED: The CSHA Mariposa Elevator 25/50 previously scheduled for Jun 28 & 29 has new dates! The West Region ride is now set for October 11 & 12.

RIDE CANCELLATION: The Headwaters of the Rogue 25/50 set for August 23 in the Northwest Region has been cancelled.

RIDE CANCELLATION: The Sedgefield Fall Fox Run 25/50 scheduled in the Southeast Region for September 15 has been cancelled.

RIDE CANCELLATION: Oak Leaf Run (Midwest Region) set for July 26 (25/50) and 27 (25/35) has been cancelled.

RIDE CANCELLATION: Oakland Hills Elevator Ride 25/50 (West Region) set for September 6 has been cancelled.
